Tender for the provision of specialized scientific services to support the implementation of the project “HERMES: Harmonized framework for dealing with coastal erosion by enhancing the implementation of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management Protocol”
Τhe NGO ΟΡΙΟΝ participates in the HERMES project: “A harmonized framework for tackling coastal erosion by enhancing the implementation of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management Protocol”, which is part of the Transregional Balkan-Mediterranean Program 2014-2020 (Interreg Balkan- Mediterranean 2014-2020), co-funded by the European Union and National Resources.
The HERMES Project capitalizes on the experience accumulated from previous European programs in the wider region of the Eastern Mediterranean, such as BeachMED, CoastGAP, Coastance, MareNostrum, etc, with the aim of developing a common methodological framework to be implemented in the four pilot areas, one by each country (Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Cyprus). In each area:
(a) assess the historical and evaluate the future coastline;
(b) develop and quantify vulnerability indicators on erosion and climate change;
(c) assess the impact of human activities and activities;
Within the framework of the project, the NGO ORION carries out the present offer of services with elements and terms, which are reflected in the detailed description of the services provided under the assigned project, as defined by the “Deliverables-Deliverable” of Annex I of this notice.
